HS-2800 Mobile Studio

HS-2800 is an integrated, briefcase-style HD production switcher. With 8/12 digital inputs, a built-in 17” multi-view video monitor and 10-bit video support, the HS-2800 is ideal for outside broadcast crews, mobile video units and any fast-moving live TV production.

Light weight, affordable and powerful, it is equally well suited to the live events and AV market, such as theatres, conference centers, places of worship, lecture rooms and corporate presentations.

The HS-2800 enables users to mix a variety of live and pre-recorded video, graphics and audio sources to produce high-quality HD digital content on the fly

either for projection locally, playout globally or programme recording.

Advanced features include dual picture-in-picture functionality, dual down-stream keying, 4-CH XLR Audio inputs, Multiple

embedded Audio SDI outputs, HD-SD conversion, and a 17.3-inch monitor to display input sources, program preview and the live program. For fluid communication among the production and camera crew, the HS-2800 integrates an eight way intercom system and comes complete with headsets, and tally lights, and headsets.

The output can be distributed direct to screen via HDMI or SDI. Users have a choice of delivering in SD or HD in full 4:2:2 quality. It is well suited for output to:
